Oklahoma Writing Project is accepting applications for 2020 Summer Institute!
OKWP SI 2020 will be held at the Moore Norman Technology Center-Norman Campus during the month of June 2020. Additional dates for required SI Coach training, interviews and the two pre-institute trainings will be released in January 2020.

Dates: April 18th 8:30-3:30, May 2nd 8:30-3:30

June 8-11, June 15-18, June 22-25 from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
*During the institute, Norman campus staff should plan on arriving around 8:30 am and leaving around 4:30 pm.
Power of Teaching Symposium
June 26 8:00 a.m.-1130 a.m. followed by celebratory lunch.
OWP Summer Institute Back-to-School Drive-In Conference
Possible Date: August 8, 2020
Possible Location: Bryant Elementary, Moore Public Schools

Invitational Summer Institute Fellow Application
Applicants invited to interview will receive an appointment sign-up email by March 29, 2019.
IMPORTANT: Start saving your student writing samples now. You will need student samples for your interview and during the Summer Institute. Be sure and save high/low ability examples from your writing lessons. Originals are great but copies are fine.
At the interview, you will bring your professional vita and some of your student writing samples.
